Dr Katrina Zaballa

Dr Katrina Zaballa is a General Paediatrician who graduated from Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Sydney. She completed her General Paediatric training at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2021.

Dr Zaballa has had extensive experience in paediatric medicine, managing children of all ages from neonates to adolescents. She has a special interest in paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, having completed 2 years of training in sleep and respiratory medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Through her training she has experience in flexible bronchoscopies, interpretation of pulmonary function tests and sleep studies, and the management of children with complex asthma, chronic respiratory conditions and children requiring non-invasive and invasive respiratory support. Dr Zaballa also has hospital affiliation with the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
