APPOINTMENTS & FEES
It is our policy not to keep patients waiting for appointments. Occasionally the doctor may be running late due to an emergency or a patient requiring a longer consultation than expected. If you require an extended appointment (more than 15 minutes) to discuss a complex issue or multiple problems, please notify our receptionists when making an appointment.
To help suit the needs of our patients we offer different type of consultations;
- Standard appointment – 15 minutes (1 issue)
The fee for a standard 15-minute appointment is $78 with a Medicare rebate of around $39.10
- Long appointment – 30 minutes (new patients or >1 issue)
The fee for a longer 30-minute appointment is $125 with a Medicare rebate of around $75.75. Please note that all New Patients attending the practice will require a 30-minute consult for their first visit.
- Prolonged appointment – 45 minutes (complex)
The fee for a longer 45-minute appointment is $185 with a Medicare rebate of around $111.50
Prolonged consults can be arranged with the reception team for appointments that require longer than 30 minutes.
Consultations that may require a longer consultation could include; New patients, full comprehensive health checks, Women’s health checks, newborn health checks, care plans.
Payment is required at the end of the consultation. We accept EFTPOS, Mastercard & Visa payments only and are a cash free practice. Please note that all Medicare rebates will be processed for you on the day also.
New patients to the practice are welcome to download a new patient registration form to complete and bring along to your first appointment.
