Registered Senior Psychologist

Vinity is a registered senior psychologist with 20-plus years of experience using a Family Systems approach. Her experience and education have taught her that one vital resource for a child is the family and that parents are the experts in their child’s life. She values family ties and works with the family leader to identify dysfunctional patterns.
Her efforts are to give the parents autonomy and empowerment during the sessions and to handle the challenges thoughtfully. The sessions aim to coach the parents to prepare them to manage the challenges based on their skills and further add to their tool pool to equip them to manage the challenges in the future. She approaches evidence-based psychological intervention by conducting pre- and post-treatment questionnaires. The seventh session will involve evaluation feedback, and the last session assessment will be emailed to the parents. Hence, she requests that the parents complete the assessments enclosed in the email.
Vinity has a Master’s in Brain and Mind Science and a Master’s in health sciences (Child and Adolescent Mental Health) from the University of Sydney.
